Scaling Impact

Accelerating the transfer of proven solutions across Europe's welfare sector

Spreading proven social innovations faster

Many organisations develop strong social solutions because local needs demand them. Others face similar challenges and start from scratch. ignato shortens this path: we identify solutions that have already proven successful elsewhere and make them usable for your organisation — in a structured way and with manageable risk.

Less effort, faster implementation

Adopting proven models saves development time, reduces coordination effort and helps you move into implementation faster.

8-phase

method

Our method guides organisations in a structured way from identifying the problem to introducing a proven solution into everyday practice.

Europe-wide

network

Access to tested models, experienced practitioners and partners from many countries — helping you arrive at a viable solution faster.
What we offer

ignato brings proven solutions to your organisation — and supports you all the way to implementation.

Support

We support organisations in finding suitable solutions for their challenges and implementing them successfully. From analysing the problem and selecting proven models to implementing a pilot project, we support every step of the process.

Training and learning programmes

Our training programmes equip organisations and teams with the methods and skills they need to identify, adapt, adopt and scale social innovations successfully. This helps build long-term capabilities for driving innovation independently.

Community

Several organisations come together to work on similar challenges. Through structured programmes and formats, they evaluate solutions, develop cooperation models, share experiences and define concrete steps for implementation within their own organisations.

The method

A clear path from problem to working solution

Our method guides organisations step by step from analysing a challenge and selecting proven solutions through to successful implementation and scaling.

We analyse the initial situation and work with you to define the specific challenge to be solved.
02

Search & selection

We identify proven approaches from our global networks that match your challenge.
03

Testing

The selected social innovation is adapted to your local context, a cooperation model is developed and tested in a pilot project.
04

Institutionalisation

We refine and package successful models so they can be adopted by other organisations or regions.

ignato shows how solidarity becomes tangible: proven ways of helping are shared, scaled and made effective where people need them most.

Case Studies

Successful solutions in practice

Across Europe, innovative approaches are emerging to address social challenges. ignato works with organisations to identify these solutions and transfer them to new contexts. Our case studies show how successful projects can be adapted and implemented — and how local initiatives can become models that create impact in other places, too.

Caritas Orihuela-Alicante

Mobile support for people experiencing homelessness
In Orihuela-Alicante, Spain, ignato supports Caritas in improving the quality of life of people experiencing homelessness. To this end, mobile support services such as a shower bus and a laundry bus are being adapted from international models for a local pilot project. These low-threshold hygiene services strengthen dignity and trust, while making it easier to access further social, health and housing services.

Caritas Alba Iulia

Community-based models for inclusion
In Alba Iulia, Romania, ignato supports Caritas in developing new approaches to promote the inclusion of the Roma community, especially women and children. Successful models from Romania and Hungary are adapted to local conditions and prepared for pilot projects. The aim is to overcome social exclusion in the long term through empowering community-based approaches.
